Alkaline Water Benefits – Antioxidant Properties:
Water with a pH level greater than 7.0 and a negative ORP is referred to as alkaline ionized water which, when drunk daily maybe an additional effective antioxidant.
Increasing the body’s antioxidant levels has been linked in numerous studies with higher energy levels, anti-aging effects and disease inhibiting properties. Increased antioxidant levels are found to help with everything from ulcers and arteriosclerosis to diabetes and other health issues.
Another alkaline water benefit is ionized water is molecularity smaller (tiny clusters of water), it is absorbed more quickly by the cells in our bodies. These smaller water groups allow us to re-hydrate and/or detoxify the body faster and more effectively than with non-ionized tap or bottled water.
Think about taking a baseball and throwing it against a chain link fence, it will either bounce off or get stuck. Now think about throwing a handful of marbles against the fence, they go right through. This is similar to what happens in our body during the absorption of water, with tap water (the baseball) and Alkaline Ionized Water (the marbles).

Alkaline Water Benefits – Acidic Water’s Astringent & Plant Growth Properties: (NOT for Drinking)
Water with a pH level less than 7.0 is referred to as acidic water. Because our skin and hair are both mildly acidic, when Acid Ionized Water is applied topically to skin, it exfoliates the skin removing dead cells and acts as an astringent which tightens the skin, removes fine lines and wrinkles. And, because acidic water kills surface bacteria on the skin, it also helps fight acne and blemishes without harmful chemical residues. Shampooing andrinsing your hair with acidic water enhances shine, manageability and reduces breakage.
Acid water can also enhance plant growth especially for plants that thrive in slightly acidic soil such as roses, sunflowers, begonias, many vegetables including squash and melons, azaleas, rhododendrons, hibiscus, tomatoes, strawberries and blueberries.
Non Alkaline Water Benefits – Neutral (Purified) Water’s Filtration Properties:
Even if you’re using your water ionizer’s neutral setting, i.e., water with a pH of 7.0 that is neither alkaline or acidic, all our water ionizers have built-in Active Carbon Water Filters which help remove chlorine, benzene, trihalomethane, radon, pesticides, VOCs and hundreds of other harmful pollutants found in tap water. These filters also eliminate unpleasant odors, act as an antibacterial/antimicrobial agent. And, of course the filter also works with alkaline and acidic water settings so it’s doubly pure. All our water filters are designed to last for at least a full year under normal usage conditions.
